GW 40K GT Heat 3 preview: part one

Next weekend I’ll be at the Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament Heat 3, so this week I thought I’d do a series of short posts quickly running through what I’m taking as a build up to my full tournament report in a fortnight.

Today I’ll look at the army list I will be using.

I built and painted most of this army for the previous edition of 40k, rejigging and adding a few bits when the Index was available and then finalising the list once the Codex was released.

Hive Fleet Fulminar uses the Kraken rules, as it most suits the armies style of play, which is all close combat and psychics. When I first built this army I envisioned them evolving to lose their long range shooting ability as the planets and systems then had been crushing suited a more up close and personal touch, with the psykers using their abilities to enhance their fighting prowess.

      Like your movement trays, I don’t have enough models to warrent them 😊
